Fed: Sebastian misses out on World Idol title

SYDNEY, Jan 2 AAP - He may not be on top of the world but stepping up to the mike on
the international stage is unlikely to harm the career of Australian World Idol contestant
Guy Sebastian.

The 21-year-old from Adelaide wowed judges in the singing contest, which was broadcast
to a worldwide audience of 100 million viewers on Boxing Day, but failed to bring home
the crown.

Norway's Kurt Nilsen instead stole the show, beating another 10 contenders with a rousing
version of U2's Beautiful Day.
