NSW: Two injured in scaffolding collapse

Two construction workers have been taken to hospital in a serious condition after an
accident on their western Sydney building site.

An ambulance spokeswoman says the two men fell when the scaffolding they were on collapsed.

She says one man has head injuries and is in a critical condition, while the other
man has fractures to most parts of his body and is in a serious condition.

A CFMEU union spokesman says he understands the men fell about nine metres.

The accident at Albert St, Granville is the second serious building site accident in
a week and the fifth in three weeks in the state.
