State Division of Parole officials have removed three parole officers from an investigation into a variety of claims involving Horizon House staff members, including allegations that workers took payments from a parolee in return for passes from the halfway house.
Martin Kelly, a senior administrator for the Division of Parole, confirmed Wednesday that the three parole officers were pulled off the review of Horizon House operations in order to allow for what he called a "fresh new perspective."
