SEATTLE - Mike Hargrove went out a winner.

Hours after Seattle's manager abruptly resigned in a surprise move, Jose Guillen hit a tying homer in the eighth inning and a game-ending single in the ninth to help the Mariners beat the Toronto Blue Jays 2-1 Sunday for their eighth straight victory.
