The inscription on Syracuse University's memorial wall to 35 students killed on Pan American Flight 103 has been changed to read that the young people died in a terrorist attack.

Several parents of the dead students demanded a change in April when they attended the memorial's dedication. They were upset that the original wording on the 4-foot stone monument called the bombing "a plane crash," instead of a terrorist attack, said Joan Dater, whose daughter Gretchen was on the flight.
